This short film documents the interdisciplinary artistic experience, 'Damn Everything But the Circus,' that was held August 25, 2013 at Pumps in Brooklyn. Filmed and edited by David Rey. The show was directed by Scarlet La Rosa and curated by Aubrey Roemer.

My models for the images were also the employees of the club, and the cast of the accompanying burlesque/ comedy act. The show was held on a Sunday, outside of business hours - utilizing the venue as an exhibition performance space.

Oil paint, wax, found and stretched cloth, LED lights varying dimensions. These portraits were the first paintings of this series, live painted in my studio after approaching several dancers with the idea for the portrait project.
